This week brought about the entrance of a new season for us here at GuavaBox. We officially became Hubspot Certified Partners. Over the past several months we have been working with the team at Hubspot to learn all of the ins and outs of the world’s best marketing automation software. Looking back at the process and ahead into the future, I thought it would be appropriate to break down what went into our decision to begin using Hubspot and offering it to our clients.
My favorite aunt and social media rock star Anne Deeter Gallaher (@AnneDGallaher) often says: “You are who Google says you are.” This is more true today than at any point in history. Today, Google processes about 100 billion seaches per month.
This creates an unprecedented opportunity for businesses.
Our mission at GuavaBox is to help successful businesses create a powerful online presence that will help them build strong relationships with searching and social consumers.
We strive to stay ahead of the curve so we can provide the best solutions for our clients, no matter what market they call home. This drive for excellence in the online marketing space is why we began the journey to become Hubspot Certified Partners. (For those who are asking “What is Hubspot?” we have a blog post just for you!)
We Believe in Hubspot (because Google does too)
We have been students of Hubspot for years. Their blog provides some of the best information in the industry and they are always practicing the methodology that they preach. Since 2007, Hubspot has generated over 4,000 customers in 31 countries, manages over 5 million leads, and owns over 50% market share in the marketing software industry.
It is this kind of growth that caught the attention of Google Ventures, Salesforce, and Sequoia Capital. In their Series D round of financing, Hubspot received $32 million from these companies.
When we saw that Google was investing into a marketing software that focuses on helping businesses perform better in search, we knew that the methodology that Hubspot built into their system was in-line with the direction that Google is going to steer their algorithm.
Best Practices are Better Together
Having a company website that ranks on the first page of Google is not a new business goal. Social media adaptation is a new ground rule for businesses in all industries. Email marketing has gone through some dark days in the past, but has proven to be a profitable choice for marketing. Marketing automation helps nurture leads to a sales ready state. Blogging creates unlimited opportunities for your business. Analytics help determine what works and what doesn’t in your marketing campaign. These are all proven marketing techniques, but traditionally you needed a separate tool for each technique.
Hubspot brings all of the tools that make up the inbound marketing methodology and connects them all on one central marketing dashboard. This provides a level of control over each step in the inbound marketing process that cannot be achieved when trying to line up separate tools.
How This Can Help You
As Hubspot Certified Partners, we are trained and experienced with every facet of Hubspot software. We come alongside companies who want to grow their business by reaching new customers online. Together we create growth goals and develop a marketing plan that puts your business on track to hit those goals. We work together to create the blog and downloadable content resources. We also take care of all the crazy tech stuff that makes your head spin.

Walking the Walk
The process of becoming Hubspot Certified Partners was a lot of work and it stretched us in some great ways. As a result, we’re a stronger agency and are in a better position to help our clients succeed.
As an inbound marketing company, it is our goal to lead by example by offering great content here on our blog that answers questions and provides solutions. The cool thing about this process is that it never ends. We will always be evolving our techniques in order to better serve our clients.
